Marriott Suites on Sand key in Clearwater Beach is a hotel in an upscale, very quiet and a most beautiful setting on a narrow strip of Sand Key just 3 minutes drive south from Clearwater Pier and across the street from #2 rated beach in the US by Beaches Council. A multi-million dollar renovation of the resort was completed in early 2004 and includes 220 “all new” guest suites. The suites comfortably can accommodate at least two people with their own rooms, TV sets, etc. Lisa’s Klubhouse, a children’s center offers extensive activities program supervised by full-time professional staff. There are 6 restaurants and 4 lounges including the new Watercolour Restaurant, featuring prime aged steaks and fresh Florida seafood. This restaurant overlooking the Bay serves food that, away from home, I have tasted only in the south of Italy.
